Vanilla Pro-Nuts. Doughnuts made with Bamorganic high protein vanilla shake – simple and delicious!
Recipe (Makes 12)
1/2 bottle Bam Organic High Protein Vanilla Shake
1 cup wholewheat self-raising flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp honey
1tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp coconut oil
Melted dark chocolate and chopped nuts to decorate
Mix together the Bam Organic High Protein Vanilla Shake, honey, oil and egg, then fold in the flour a little at a time.
Grease an 8-ring silicon doughnut mould with extra coconut oil, then pour the mixture into each mould (repeat with the remaining mixture once the first batch has baked).
Bake for 15 minutes at 200°c until golden.
Leave to cool, then drizzle melted chocolate over and finish with a sprinkle of chopped nuts.
These will keep in an airtight container for up to 3 days or can be frozen.
